Angry Moles is a custom web page for the CyTime Event Recorder which demonstrates the concept of Sequence-of-Events-Recording. Players compete in a fast-action, reaction-test game, in which the CyTime determines players' scores to 1-ms resolution. Results are viewed using a standard web browser, and the winner is the player with the fastest time. But don't "jump the gun"--your mole will be embarrassed. Best scores are tabulated, allowing competition over many rounds.
In the demo version, the START switch is represented by a clickable, on-screen switch. The red-yellow-green stack lights are represented by on-screen LEDs. Finally, YOU compete against 3 players whose scores are determined randomly by computer. Instead of hitting a pushbutton (as in the live version), hit the spacebar once you see the green "GO" LED.
►Enter your name (in place of "Player 1").
►Click the green "PLAY" button to begin.
►Click the START switch—the yellow LED comes on, and the random timer starts.
►When the "GO" LED comes on, click the SPACEBAR (or any key).
►The web page displays the results.
►To play again, click the START switch to OFF—then on again to begin a new round.
[Note: Best Scores are saved to your computer. The "Clear Scores" button deletes this file.]
