Power Reliability and Energy Efficiency.  Enabled. SM

1 msec time sync for Sepam relays

Key features:
The STR-100 Satellite Time Reference is used as a GPS receiver in conjunction with a Trimble Acutime Gold antenna, or as a protocol converter, accepting an IRIB-B input to synchronize Sepam relays for 1 ms resolution.
  • Accepts modulated IRIG-B, or
  • Trimble Acutime Gold antenna output
  • 1 pulse every 10 sec for Sepam
  • Also outputs DCF77 for PowerLogic meters, such as CM3/4 and PM870

Precision Time Sync of Sepam Relays by Schneider Electric:  Enabled by STR-100

The STR-100 Satellite Time Reference (STR) can be used to synchronize Schneider Electric Sepam relays (series 20/40/80) for time stamping events to one (1) millisecond resolution (100 micro-second accuracy).  The STR accepts a GPS time signal from either Trimble Acutime Gold GPS antenna or IRIG-B time source and outputs a precise pulse for up to 16 Sepam relays.
