CYBER SCIENCES INC. ANNOUNCES NEW CYTIME SEQUENCE OF EVENT RECORDER

Murfreesboro Tennessee, USA — February 21, 2022. Cyber Sciences, the global leader in precision time solutions for critical power facilities announces the release of the CyTime Sequence of Event Recorder (SER) model SER-32e. It is the latest addition to the Cyber Sciences’ SER product line which includes the SER-3200 and SER-2408. All SER models provide precision timestamped event reporting to 1 millisecond for power outage root-cause analysis and advanced system diagnostics for critical facilities. Each event record contains a date/time stamp, event type, channel number and state, time quality, and unique sequence number.

In addition to these features, the SER-32e has a large 4.3” color touchscreen for easier menu navigation, device setup, diagnostics and input status viewing. Users can connect to the SER-32e over Ethernet using its embedded web server via a standard web browser, with no proprietary software needed. The SER-32e also has increased web performance over previous models for faster event analysis and system diagnostics. With support for Modbus TCP and/or RESTful API, data is easily integrated into any SCADA, Power Monitoring and Building Management System. Additional data security has been added with Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS), as well as extended control power ride-through (>10 seconds) to ensure critical events are captured after a power loss. While the SER-32e retains 32 high-speed inputs with 1 millisecond time stamping of our other SER models, it also includes the added benefit of 2 expansion slots for future additional connections (Inputs/Outputs).
